Role and Responsibilities

This is a new position, as till now the function has been looked after directly by the Chief Executive. Hence, this is a great opportunity to set up the function and structure it. 

As the organization is growing rapidly, the key responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting new team members and inducting them in the culture of the organization will be a significant part of the role. 

  • Capacity Building of the team, personally as well as through specialist Training providers

  • Performance assessment and 

  • all other traditional HR roles are covered 


Requirements

  • A degree in HR is a basic requirement

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, 

  • Few years of work or volunteering experience in an NGO

  • Traits and abilities like 

    • Positive and rational thinking, 

    • Empathetic listening, 

    • Pleasant personality, 

    • High levels of energy and enthusiasm 

    • An open-mind with problem solving abilities  

    • Excellent communications skills in English and Hindi

    • Excellent ability to write in English and make presentations

    • High proficiency in Computers and Internet
