Job Description

As a Project Officer, you will monitor, coordinate and oversee the day-to-day activities of the entrepreneurs and enterprises incubated and supported by ETASHA Society as a part of its Project Aarambh. You will also identify new business opportunities for these enterprises to scale up and for new enterprises to be established. Based upon existing and emerging market trends you will have to guide the entrepreneurs and other community members to ensure growth and sustenance of their businesses and also to encourage new members to join the project and benefit from it.  


Roles and Responsibilities

·         Coordinating with all existing and new entrepreneurs on a daily basis

·         Follow-ups with the entrepreneurs to track progress of enterprises

·         Assist in providing business start-up and scale-up support to both new and existing enterprises through market visits/participation in events, meetings with external agencies and sharing of ideas and mentoring/counselling sessions with the entrepreneurs

·         Participating in awareness creation introductory workshops for introducing the programme to community members

·         Assist in identifying and connecting with external agencies for imparting skill training, supply of raw materials and sales of finished goods

·         Taking training sessions with the existing and prospective entrepreneurs

·         Coordinating between team members and community members for successful implementation of training sessions

·         Motivating and counselling existing and new entrepreneurs to successfully operate their enterprises

·         Ensuring all data and information is collected and stored as per project requirements

·         Interacting with all relevant stakeholders and sharing required information as per pre-defined schedules and formats

·         Providing all relevant support to other team members



·         Excellent English and Hindi communication skills

·         Ability to write project reports and prepare presentations

·         Proficient in MS-Office

·         Preferably having 2 years of experience in program administration and implementing projects related to livelihood generation and/or women’s issues

·         Field experience working with vulnerable communities

·         Ability to manage field work with the support of supervisory staff

·         Familiarity with community engagement and mobilization as well as experience with grassroots organisations

·         Master’s degree in any discipline preferred

Compensation and location

·         Salary: Rs. 20,000/month with minimum 2 years work experience

·         Duration: One year contract, to be renewed annually

·         Location: Mangolpuri, West Delhi
